All Illinois voters will be able to vote by mail in this year's election. Information for Chicago voters and Cook County voters can be found at the following links. It's never been easier to vote, so please make your voice heard this year.

The Chicago City Council voted to approve an ordinance requiring landlords to provide their long term tenants 120 days notice when they plan to not renew a lease, or increase rent. This is a significant increase from the prior required 30-day notice period. Shorter term tenants also will get longer notice period for non-renewal of lease and rent increases from 30 to 60 days.
